It is a great responsibility ensuring that I get photos of these performers at their best, but something I thrive on and enjoy. There is no greater joy than seeing the reaction from these subjects post-event and how for a fleeting moment they get to see themselves through the eyes of their audience.
In addition to the rehearsed performance, there are unplanned moments in any event, that if caught the right moment can capture the entire essence of your event. Be it a performer backstage nervously waiting on the wings, or a participant or audience member caught in the moment.
